SEASON 2 CO-HOST: DR LINDSAY AIKMAN

Dr Lindsay Aikman is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology in the UK (BA BSc PGCert DClinPsy AFHEA) registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

In her current role within an Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Team, Lindsay supports people with complex presentations where physical health, identity, attachment, and trauma are deeply intertwined. Prior to this, she spent seven years working in an acute mental health unit, supporting people during periods of profound crisis and distress.

She also brings a strong systems perspective, developed through almost a decade of earlier corporate work in management research and organizational change. This background informs her approach to leadership, service development, and embedding innovation in sustainable ways.

At the heart of her work is a belief that healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and within our bodies.
